Pesticides in Food: Tomatoes
09 Nov 2009: Often the sought after substances when testing for pesticides are temperature sensitive. This application note presents the Mortar-Mill, a grinding bowl completely made of stainless steel. This bowl can be cooled down with liquid nitrogen and during the comminution liquid nitrogen may also be added. Therefore an absolutely cryogenic comminution in liquid nitrogen is possible.

Pittcon Announces 2010 Technical Program
15 Oct 2009: The 2010 Technical Program listing of sessions is now available on the Pittcon website. The Technical Program begins on Sunday, February 28 and closes on Thursday, March 4, 2010 and will consist of 62 Symposia, 28 Organized Contributed Sessions, 120 Oral Sessions, 8 Workshops, 45 Conferee Networking Sessions, and 88 Poster Sessions.
